(William M. Connolley 09:05, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)) Is this page at all reasonable or is it just someones rant? For example, of the "prominent" people who are supposed to be banned, only one has a wiki page.

This is something of a cause celebre in the academic community. This should definitely remain as is imo. Sjc 09:08, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)

(William M. Connolley 09:16, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)) OK, but in that case could some of the responses by Gaussian be discussed in the article? It seems rather one sided at the moment. And what about the "prominent" people? Are they?

12:28 a.m. Nov. 4, 2004 I don't know exactly why Gaussian decided to ban all these people from using it's software, but I am John Pople's grandaughter (he was one of the main developers of Gaussian) and I promise you that this is definately not a falsehood. -Kimberly Malkowski
