It seems to me that we have gotten off track in terms of this being a disambiguation page. Our definition of a disambiguation page currently states:

"Do not disambiguate, or add a link to a disambiguation page, if there is no risk of confusion. Ask yourself: When a reader enters this term and pushes "Go", would they expect to view any of the articles listed on the disambiguation page? Disambiguation pages are not search indices -- do not add links that merely contain part of the page title where there is no significant risk of confusion."

In this regard, it seems that "dumbass" (just removed)-- and likewise, perhaps also: Dorothy Ann, Daniel Amos, and Dumbledor’s Army might not be appropriate entries here. I'd like to hear other thoughts on the subject. Is anyone who is actually looking for "dumbass" likely to first encounter "DA", the way that someone looking for "District Attorney" would? Or are we simply listing any two-word names or expressions that could theoretically be represented by the two letters "D.A."? That seems unreasonable to me, given the actual purpose of a disambiguation page. "D.A." for "Doctor of Arts" and "D.A." for "District Attorney" are reasonable entries for disambiguation, as they are expressions that are frequently represented by the acronym "D.A." Da means Dad too, at least in Ireland. Maybe pop a link in to father? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.100.38.132 (talk) 23:31, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
