Hi Peter, thanks for your note at the New user log. Your interests are impressive! BTW, Wikipedia runs on MediaWiki; the developers would certainly be pleased if they were to read your praise of the software's usability. Anyway, welcome; I hope you enjoy contributing here, as I have. Chris Roy 22:28, 18 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Hi Peter, yes its me[edit]

Actually I saw your edit on one of the RAN related pages and meant to get in touch, but work has this habit of intruding!

We should catch up. My e-mail address is <firstname>.<lastname>@eds.com (gotta watch those e-mail address harvesters.

Anzac Day image[edit]

I was VERY pleased that this image 'lasted' for 4 years on such an important page (from the 90th Anzac Day, on 25 April 2005 until that day in 2009.)

James Cook[edit]

Hello there

I reverted your recent addition to this article because the vandalisation of the Cook statue is already covered in the article. Please also see the ongoing discussion on this very issue on the Talk page. Happy to discuss there. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 00:43, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article K-line (x-ray) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Content fork. The astrochemical K-Line described here is iron's specific K-line as described more generally in Characteristic X-Ray

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
