Possibly unfree Gyungbok.jpg[edit]

An image that you uploaded or altered, Gyungbok.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Nice picture, btw. -- Visviva 00:46, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Images[edit]

I've noticed that none of the images you uploaded carries information on their licence/source. To me, they all appear to be copyrighted material; and thus should not be uploaded to the Pedia. Please add a description and licensing information to your pictures. Otherwise they will have to be deleted.

Please let this not discourage you from contributing to the Pedia. Your contributions are very welcome, but do make sure they are compatible with Wikipedia's licence (GFDL). Kokiri 19:01, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I echo Kokiri's comments. You can learn more about Wikipedia image policy at Wikipedia:Images. Please add licensing information to your pictures, or it will be necessary to delete all of them. If you have created them yourself, please state so on the image page and also add a {{GFDL}} tag. -- Visviva 02:37, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

You keep adding an honorific (italicised, bolded, and red-linked) to this article, without responding to my points on the Talk page. Until you engage in discussion, I shall simply keep removing it. If you have good reasons for your edit, please bring them to the Talk page. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 12:51, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)

This is now becoming more than merely bad manners. If you don't stop reverting to your version without having the courtesy to discuss the issue, I shall ask for the page to be protected. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 11:15, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Please stop uploading images without copyright information. If you do not clarify their copyright status, they will all be deleted. -- Visviva 14:33, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

May I ask, Sissel111, why you added in the factually inaccurate (and, if not that, POV) comment that His Imperial Majesty Shōwa Tennō was a war criminal? If you meant that he was tried for war crimes, he was not. It is generally accepted among historians (not conspiriologists, mind you ;) ) that he was largely uninvolved with those war crimes. Then, when you found your POV removed from the article, you added it back in.

I do not wish to start a conflict with you over this issue, as I respect you for most of your positive contributions to Wikipedia.

I have removed the above image from the article, and tagged it as a copyright violation. It has also been listed on Wikipedia:Copyright problems. If you believe it is not a copyright violation, please explain why.

Once again, please refrain from uploading images without a free-use license and source information. Such images do not belong on Wikipedia, no matter how nice they are. -- Visviva 18:07, 19 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image deletion warning The image Image:Prince Imperial.jpg has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. If you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, please provide the necessary information.

Image deletion warning The image Image:Prince Imperial Gu.jpg has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. If you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, please provide the necessary information.

You really must stop up-loading images from Internet sites, with no attempt to discover their copyright status. If you continue as you have been, there's a very good chance that you'll find yourself blocked from editing. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:24, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You've removed the copyvio template from the image and replaced the image in Gu, Prince of Korea. I've reverted this; your actions are explictly against Wikipedia policy. Acting like this makes an editing block even more likely. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 15:00, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Image deletion warning Image:Makokako.jpg has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. If you feel that this image should not be deleted, please go there to voice your opinion.

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Sissel111! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 950 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
