NPOV

The subject matter is more or less accurate (i come fr. karnataka), but yes the article needs an overhaul since it does not explain to outsiders what those "social evils" are. (they are in fact casteism, untouchability, etc., that other hindu reformers touched upon). The article is definetly not NPOV though. pamri 06:00, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)

There seems to be another version of this article, see Basava. That version is better written and certainly more NPOV than this. I suggest either deleting this version or merging info from this article into that one. --ashwatha 21:56, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)
