Joining WV[edit]

I do not see why this was a "dubious" act either. Since Lincoln was dead in 1865, the joint resolution by Congress in 1866 was hardly an homage to the dead President. ANYONE else???Coal town guy (talk) 15:03, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Joining WV part 2[edit]

Larry Kump can join whatever he wants, but his actions are in clear violation of the WV state constitution where such matters are clearly defined as the sole office of the Governor...... I think there should be a citation to the WV state constitution of WV code...its rather clearly defined......Coal town guy (talk) 16:28, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department page mentions two incidents, the Ronald Fletcher shooting, and the Sheriff Robert Shirley police brutality case. For the first one, the citation is broken and I'm struggling to find another source for it. (Archive.org doesn't even have a copy of that Herald-Mail URL...) Aside from that, the Organization section is basically uncited. I think, removing the dubious material, this Sheriff's department could be handled adequately as a section on this page.
