I was born in Washington, D.C., but lived most of my life in Seattle, Washington. After graduation from college I worked as a database programmer, and then attended law school at the University of Virginia. I now live in New York, New York.

I majored in Middle East Studies in college, and many of my wiki interests revolve around Middle Eastern subjects.
