I would be very interested to see more recent data. (Currently showing Feb data.) Oska 01:40, Sep 3, 2004 (UTC)

  • Considering this is now nearing on two years old, I agree. Where does this data come from?Zafiroblue05 23:15, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Firefox query.[edit]

The stats page lists 36 hits for Firefox. However the detailed stats (search for "firefox") show far more. In fact I suspect I will have generated several thousand hits with Firefox (albeit through a squid proxy). What's happening? Rich Farmbrough 15:53, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Since new browsers are gaining momentum, it would be interesting to see latest stats. Veeven 10:50, 12 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Indicative of general (popular) web browser usage[edit]

Would the browser statistics displayed for Wikipedia more indicative of current web browser market share trends?

Figures from w3schools.com or htmlfixit.com, for example, would not be indicative of popular browser usage, but gearing more towards the IT/technical sectors of the internet users.

I have reason to believe that Wikipedia represents more of the "true" picture of browser usage.

Series Need of Updating[edit]

  • This page is way overdue for an overhaul. Plus, the Firefox states can't be correct. If someone can point me to the stats I will update this page right away. Pattersonc 16:22, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Stats were last generated 19 October 2004. They need to be recalculated. ··gracefool | 07:17, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
