Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

And as you seem to focusing on articles about Thailand (which is also my favourite topic), the List of Thailand-related topics and the Thailand-related topics notice board are probably of interest for you. I'm looking forward to see more of your contributions... andy 19:38, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)

On your edits to Ananda Mahidol, readers are going to find all these enormously long Thai names and titles rather wearying - please be sparing with them. Do we really need to know all the King's titles? If you do add them, you should put the Roman script before the Thai script version, and you really should translate them (in brackets) as well, although this will make them even longer. OK. The Roman-Thai order is now sorted. I agree the names were terrifying: I think it was my attempt when I first edited this to preserve what had previously written. But then the informal versions do not seem necessary now -- they've now been deleted. (You may be pleased to know that there are two other versions of the name: 'medium' and 'full' -- the latter was at least 6 lines long in Thai alone, and I although I take the view that encyclopedia should be comprehensive, I decided against putting these names down in the article. --Jakris 02:06, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
