I have reverted your edits to the Michigan article. It is useful to add metric units where they do not exist but it is not acceptable to remove "English" units. Many people do not use or understand metric measurements and our Manual of Style does not require metric only. Rmhermen 15:45, May 13, 2005 (UTC)

I encourage you to familiaze yourself with the standards of this encyclopedia, its Wikipedia:Manual of Style, its consensus and NPOV policies and also the Wikipedia:Three-revert rule which you are in danger of running afoulf of. Rmhermen 12:50, May 14, 2005 (UTC)

Please stop reverting all my edits about changing mile system to metric system. There is nothing in the Manual of Style that says mile system should be used, even in article about countries where metric system is not yet in use. In contrary, the manual of style says that the S.I. system should be use. I lose time switching obsolete system to S.I. system, I don't see why you are trashing my work. --Ocollard 15:33, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
