Wikipedia:Mexican radio nonsense campaign

I strongly suspect an ongoing campaign of adding (and re-adding) pages to Wiki for non-existent Mexican radio personalities and politicians. All of the following inter-related articles have questionable, unverifiable details, and sometimes non-sensical or untranslated text, or patent nonsense, and originated from 24.199.213.90:

- Félix Malpica Valverde
- Born in 1921 and hosted an FM radio program??

- There are people alive today who were born in 1921. However, the article gives that as the year of death. Maybe the dates are wrong, but the person and program (Líderes de Opinión) are verified on three non-mirror sites -- [1] [2] [3], all with basically the same text. The person and program seem legit, but the details given in the articles are strange. This may be confusion due to translation, or it may be deliberate. - Guillermo Zúñiga Martínez
- In a previous incarnation of this page (which was deleted for nonsense), Guillermo's birthdate was after his date of death, and he was listed as a PRI member before the party existed.
- The version posted 20:56, 26 Nov 2004 by 24.199.213.90 says that he was born in 1942 and was friends with Félix Malpica Valverde (died 1921).
- The website of the Mexican Senate does not currently list this individual's name.
- Armando Quintero Martínez
- Version submitted 18:51, 11 Nov 2004 by 24.199.213.90 says Armando died in 1917, yet participated in an FM radio program.
- Text borders on unintelligible nonsense.
- Pedro Ferríz Santacruz
- Emilio Azcárraga
- Well, this man appears to exist, but these biographies should be divided into two pages

- Uh oh, Tomas was a "deputy for the Partido Revolucionario Institucional", not a good sign. None of 24.199.213.90's PRI politicians appear to exist!!!

Note - 2016[edit]
It's been a very long time, but it may be worth putting a fork in this weird item:
- The first two articles were deleted for not meeting notability policies (which have changed a lot). The Malpica Valverde family as Grupo FM Multimedios did own FM stations, but we now have articles on them, and it appears they may be selling some or all of their holdings.
- The articles on Zúñiga Martínez, Quintero Martínez, Pedro Ferriz Santacruz, and Ruiz González do seem to be about notable figures, but much work is needed. Ruiz González did indeed exist and was indeed a deputy - his name was in the SIL - but he resigned not long into his term. The others served before the SIL started in the LVII Legislature.
- Mike Laure was deleted.
