Xbox[edit]

The main article lists the xbox conversion of GP4 as being unreleased... - I'm pretty sure that this is wrong, but dont have the release year to be able to move it into the "released" list. Hopefully someone with a better memory than me can fix it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.80.32.11 (talkcontribs)

According to these sites [1] [2] the xbox version was cancelled back in 2002 when Microprose UK was closed. johnSLADE (talk) 10:41, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sir[edit]

Is it just my bad memory, or was he really sometimes referred to as Sir Geoff Crammond? --Jmstylr 12:07, 1 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Although I can't recall, it sounds like the kind of honourary title 'Your Sinclair' and 'Zzap 64' might have bestowed upon him; he was a legendary figure during the mid-80s, along with figures such as David Braben and Ian Bell, Andrew Braybrook, Pete Cooke and the like. Mostly because of his mastery of 3D vector graphics, particularly The Sentinel, which had early full-screen solid polygons. However, it wasn't a formal title, and it wasn't as widespread a nickname as, say, Uncle Sir Clive Sinclair (who actually was a Sir).-Ashley Pomeroy 22:09, 26 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Amiga Power also perputrated the use of Sir in front his name, pleading for a serial link up version for the Amiga version of F1GP (which unlike the PC version, did not have it)
