Is anyone sure that 'quicker than boiled asparagus' is only an 'I, Claudius' reference? It is one of the things that Augustus used to say, according to Suetonius. CactusSeed (talk) 03:57, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nice new format - could also possibly be used for Dream Country and Worlds' End? --AW

I like this article, but there are some POV issues, especially in the section about "Ramadan." Willbyr (talk | contribs) 14:59, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see too much POV in the Ramadan section, although any precis is bound to include a degree of subjective interpretation. The very last point (about the Arabian Nights being part of the deal) seems rather speculative but it is couched in speculative terms and is a nice idea. So FWIW I think its a good and interesting summary.Orbitalforam (talk) 16:01, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't matter. It might be a nice idea and you might find it interesting, but this is not a review. This is meant to be an encyclopedia. Users coming up with nice ideas and putting them in articles is the precise thing OR is directed against. I agree with Willbyr, that this article is replete with POV problems. Just take one paragraph from the first section:
"Because Fables & Reflections partakes of so many elements, some believe it lacks the thematic or artistic consistency that is present even in the other short story collections. Perhaps in an effort to make these differences less apparent, DC has shuffled the issues in the volume instead of presenting them chronologically with "Distant Mirrors" at the front and "Convergence" at the back. Some readers may choose to read this volume cover-to-cover after "A Game of You", while others read individual stories in their place as originally published."
Some believe? Who? Perhaps in an effort? Pure speculation. Some readers? Which? A lot of pop culture articles on Wikipedia blantantly ignore Wikipedia guidelines, this is true; but that doesn't make it 'okay.' 203.45.146.36 (talk) 01:39, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reorganize storylines[edit]

I've created a proposal to reorganize the Sandman articles by story arc instead of by trade paperback. My full proposal and discussion on the issue can be found at Talk:The Sandman (Vertigo)#Reorganize storylines.--Marcus Brute (talk) 00:11, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
