Definition of NEC[edit]

Well, we all know NEC is a japanese electronic company. But, beside that, is there other meaning of the word 'NEC'?

NEC abbreviates the phrase "not elsewhere classified" in classification codes such as Standard Industrial Classification, International Standard Classification of Occupations, DSM-IV-TR, DSM-5, ICD-9, and ICD-10.
