History entry, To Kill a Mockingbird censorship[edit]

Note for self or whoever wants to consider if this is worthy of note:

In 1966 the Hanover County Board of Education voted to remove To Kill a Mockingbird from the shelves of the Hanover County school libraries. This elicited a response from Mockingbird author Harper Lee, noted in the wikipedia article Harper Lee Details are at A CENSORSHIP ATTEMPT IN HANOVER, VIRGINIA, 1966
