Talk:Mystery shopper

I know the Problems with Mystery Shoppers section of the article may sound a bit POV. But based on my experiences it is the truth. The example I gave about the tables being cleaned within three minutes was from a job I had at a restaruant ten years ago. The form only asked if the tables were cleaned within three minutes, with no consideration to any other factors given. It didn't matter if it was Friday at 6:30pm when it was about the busiest, or 3pm on a weekday afternoon when it was the slowest. Either the tables were cleaned within three minutes or they weren't. No room for interpertation at all. And that was how it was with all the questions on the form. No thought was given to the particular circumstances. Plus the manager (who was not a very nice person) used to get so worked up about his score, which made for a very tense and stressful working enviornment.

While I don't doubt the description of your experiences for a moment, Wikipedia doesn't allow original research, I'm afraid. Can you find a source that makes this sort of claim? If so, then something similar could be reinserted with a citation. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:17, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
