Reversion[edit]

Anonymous user 68.33.245.104 added the following sentence to the subheading, "The novel v. the film":

Widow side wins while nicolas and marlee minipulated the pro and an-taginist and got millions from tobacco side and didnt even let them win.

I see several things wrong with that sentence. One, it gives away the ending to the book; two, it is very poorly written; and three, doesn't even belong under the subheading, as it doesn't discuss the differences between the film and the book.

So where did the subheading go? I think it is really helpful to have a section discussing the differences between the movie and the book (on the article of the film, not here, obviously). If anyone knows where it went, or if someone has informations on how to make a new one, put it here. Thanx. Maarten, dutch (talk) 17:40, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correction[edit]

I'm pretty sure that the company being sued in the movie makes firearms, not cigarettes.--Grifter tm 08:15, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In the film its weapons, in the book however it is cigarettes. I haven't seen the film, but i want to see if it follows the same basic storyline. ~~

Reason for Book/Movie Page?[edit]

I don't agree with the movie and the book being pushed together. They are quite different, and I have seen points where movies and books have had their own pages. Are there any reasons for the merger? If not, I may work on separate pages. This won't show my actualy name, but for reference I am Goofyman. 68.234.53.242 23:14, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah...the pages should be separate. I'll make a page for the movie! =D Jumping cheese Contact 06:01, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update[edit]

I just finished this book, and decided to do an overhaul on the plot. The book was about a Tobacco industry, Pynex. In the movie, it was a firearms company.

All the info I added in is accurate. If you'd like to edit it, please do. But please to not revert it without consulting me. I may be a little new here, so bear with me.

thanks,

References??[edit]

I think that this article may need some references —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.108.231.10 (talk) 11:23, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?[edit]

The first four or five paragraphs (up to and before the list of jurors) suggest that the plot is about gun companies (the plot of the movie, I believe) and then all of a sudden it's about cigarettes and smoking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.49.167.229 (talk) 10:23, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Language Problem[edit]

The first sentnce under the main characters section seems to be in some other language, I'd try and fix it but i don't know what language it is or what it is meant to say.
