Wolves colours[edit]

Wolves' colours are wrongly described as "old gold". They were indeed that colour at one period but having become champions of England for the first time in 1954, the club decided to change. Old gold was dropped as the club felt it too drab. They new colour is officially "gold" and there was a huge difference from old gold. They are two entirely different colours. Old gold was closer to brown in colour. On the first day of the 1954-5 season when Wolves first wore the new colour in a league game, the Wolverhampton Express & Star reporter referred to Wolves "in their merry marigold shirts" In recent years many TV commentators have wrongly begun referring once again to the colour as old gold. However, even black and white pictures of Wolves (eg 1949 Cup Final;) show how much darker the gold gold colour was as opposed to gold.

Small edit request[edit]

Andreas Søndergaard is written as Söndergaard in the article. I'm requesting that his name is changed to 'Søndergaard'. I'll add in some sources too: The Danish football association's national team database: https://www.dbu.dk/landshold/landsholdsdatabasen/PlayerInfo/7769 and the player's own verified Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/andreas.sondergaard/ (he should know better than anyone how his own name is spelled). 85.83.210.133 (talk) 10:17, 16 August 2021 (UTC)Danish football fan.  Done - X201 (talk) 15:22, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Justin Hubner nationality[edit]

Is there a reason Justin Hubner's nationality in the roster box continues to be reverted back to Indonesia when he was born in the Netherlands and has most recently represented the Netherlands internationally, including making the Netherlands roster for the Under-19 Euros in Malta this year? By all WP:FOOTY standards, as well as established consensus, that makes him a representative of the Netherlands rather than Indonesia. Anwegmann (talk) 18:05, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, this article (https://bola.kompas.com/read/2023/12/19/21264668/justin-hubner-dipanggil-di-piala-asia-2023-tambah-persaingan-bagus-untuk#google_vignette) suggests that he is not yet an Indonesian citizen, only having entered the "final stages" of becoming one.
