faux precision[edit]

2.86% of a population of 35 is one person. The percentage has two more digits of precision than can ever be relevant. —Tamfang 21:38, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here's how the Demographics section looks with raw numbers:

The racial makeup of the CDP was 34 White and 1 from two or more races.
There were 18 households, of which three had children under the age of 18 living with them, twelve were married couples living together, and six were non-families. Six households were made up of individuals and two had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.94 and the average family size was 2.42.
In the CDP the population was spread out with five under the age of 18, eleven from 25 to 44, eleven from 45 to 64, and eight who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 47 years. For fifteen females there were twenty males. For thirteen females age 18 and over, there were seventeen males.

I think it looks more honest this way. —Tamfang 21:47, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
