"In computers, lpr creates a printer job in a spooling area for subsequent printing as facilities become available..." Surely not, in the same sense that someone is "wrong" to put a US spelling that makes it appear as though it were the only one? I know of lots of computers that don't have lpr at all. So it would be better to use a form of words that said "on computers that use ...", or something like that. PML.
